Welcome to the Grants Pass Astronomers.

We are a  group of  amateur astronomers, telescope makers, astrophotographers, and educators who live in the Grants Pass area of Southern Oregon.

We are a group of like minded individuals who enjoy astronomy.

Even if you don't have a telescope you can still join us for an exciting time viewing.

See amazing objects that are impossible to see with the naked eye.

We strive to get young people involved with astronomy and science. Our regular viewing nights usually happen at different areas through out Grants Pass.

Our yearly get togethers attract 300 to 900 enthusiasts at dark locations in California and Oregon.

              Monthly meetings

We have lost our Clubhouse on Shady Ln. and are in the process of looking for a new place. Any suggestions please contact John Bunyan or Dennis Recla.

If you would like to get your students involved email us at the "Contact Us Link" on the left.

See Monthly Calender for dates.
